Danger forage
A short tree, not a 40-plant key. Sorghum family, drought hay, wilted cherry, frost. The answers are graze, wait, test, or don’t.
What are you looking at?
Frost last night on that sorghum-family stuff?
Drought-stunted, or a lush flush after drought?
What froze?
Start at the top. When in doubt, test or wait. Hungry cattle on a wilted pile is how this goes bad.
Not a plant ID key, not a lab, not vet advice. Prussic acid and nitrates kill without a speech. If you are not sure, don’t graze it and don’t feed it until a test says otherwise.
