Privacy policy

This policy is for stanleyfarmandranch.com and related first-party production software run by Stanley Farm and Ranch, LLC in Huntsville, Texas. Last updated September 18, 2026.

What this site is

A public website about our place: photos, ranch cameras, a herd page, and a daily journal. It is not a store and it does not take payments. If you email us, that’s on purpose. This policy also covers first-party video production software (Stanley Farm Live) used with OBS Studio to livestream ranch cameras to our YouTube channel.

Information we get

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not run a contact form. If you email info@stanleyfarmandranch.com, we keep that thread so we can answer you.

The site and its vendors log ordinary web data: pages viewed, browser type, approximate location from IP, and similar technical details. Weather on the header is fetched from Open-Meteo for Huntsville and does not identify you to us.

Google user data, YouTube API Services, and related Google products

This project uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API, YouTube Live Streaming API, and the YouTube embedded player) and other Google products described below. Authorized channel operators sign in with Google so our production software can access our YouTube channel. By using this site, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

This site’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not request Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or Google Contacts. Visitors to the public website are not asked to sign in with Google. Operators of the production software described next are asked to sign in with Google OAuth.

Stanley Farm Live / YouTube production software (OAuth)

Separate from this public website, Stanley Farm and Ranch operates first-party video production software used with OBS Studio to livestream ranch cameras to our own YouTube channel (Redneck Ranchers). That software uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API / YouTube Live Streaming API. It is used only by our channel operators. Site visitors are never asked to sign in with Google for this purpose.

What Google / YouTube user data is accessed

When an authorized operator signs in, the software may access:

  • The signed-in Google Account’s linked YouTube channel identity (channel ID and title)
  • That channel’s liveBroadcast and liveStream resources
  • Broadcast metadata we set or update (title, description, privacy status, scheduled time, and broadcast status)

The software does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, other people’s YouTube accounts, or YouTube search of the public catalog.

How that data is used

We use it only to create live broadcasts on the authorized channel, bind them to our OBS encoder, update titles and descriptions, and transition broadcasts between testing, live, and complete so we can manage our own livestreams from the production software instead of YouTube Studio.

We do not sell this data. We do not use it for advertising or ad targeting. We do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models. We do not use it for any purpose other than operating livestreams on the channel the owner authorized.

Data protection

OAuth tokens are stored only as needed to keep the production software authorized. Access is limited to ranch operators. Traffic uses HTTPS. We do not share tokens or YouTube account data with advertisers or data brokers.

Retention and deletion

Tokens and related Authorized Data are kept only while the integration is in use. If access is revoked or an operator asks us to delete it, we delete that data as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 days. To revoke access yourself, use https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of data we store, email info@stanleyfarmandranch.com.

What Google user data is accessed

Google user data and related technical data may be accessed as follows:

Google OAuth / YouTube production software. When an authorized operator signs in, we access that Google Account’s linked YouTube channel identity (channel ID and title), that channel’s liveBroadcast and liveStream resources, and broadcast metadata we set or update (title, description, privacy status, scheduled time, and broadcast status). That is access to our YouTube account so we can run livestreams. Site visitors are not asked to grant this access.

Google Analytics / Google tags (container GT-5TW9X9FX). Pages you view on this site, device and browser type, referral URL, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers.

Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-5216201271697246). Cookie or advertising identifiers, pages viewed on this site, approximate location, and information about ads shown or clicked, used by Google and its partners to serve ads.

YouTube API Services (embedded player and public channel listings). When a page with a YouTube embed loads, the YouTube player may access or share with YouTube: IP address, device and browser information, cookie or player identifiers, referring page, and the YouTube video ID being loaded. If you press play, additional playback data is shared with YouTube so the video can play. If you are logged into YouTube or a Google Account in that browser, YouTube may associate that activity with your Google Account under Google’s own policy. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not receive your private YouTube watch history, likes, subscriptions, comments, or uploaded videos.

Public YouTube channel data we retrieve ourselves. To show recent Redneck Ranchers videos on this site, we access publicly available YouTube video identifiers and titles for the @RedneckRanchers channel. That is public channel content, not a visitor’s private Google Account.

Email you send us. If you email info@stanleyfarmandranch.com, we receive whatever you put in that message. That is not collected through a Google OAuth grant.

From public-site visitors we do not collect Google Account names, email addresses, or profile photos. Operator OAuth tokens for the production software are stored only as described in the Stanley Farm Live section above.

How that Google user data is used

We use Google user data only for the purposes disclosed here:

  • OAuth / YouTube production software data is used only to create, bind, update, and transition livestreams on the authorized Redneck Ranchers channel.
  • Analytics data is used to understand which pages are visited, whether the site is working, and how to improve it.
  • AdSense data is used by Google to show ads on this site. We do not build our own advertising profiles from Google user data.
  • YouTube API Services / embed data is used to display and play YouTube videos on this site.
  • Public video IDs and titles are used only to list and embed recent Redneck Ranchers videos on this site.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for credit decisions or lending. We do not transfer Google user data to data brokers or information resellers. We do not use information received from Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models. We do not use YouTube API data for a secondary purpose that is not disclosed here.

Google itself uses information collected through Analytics, AdSense, and YouTube under the Google Privacy Policy, including to serve ads as described in Google’s advertising policies. You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.

Sharing of Google user data

We do not sell, rent, or disclose Google user data to third parties for purposes other than operating this site.

Google user data is processed by Google (Analytics, AdSense, YouTube / YouTube API Services) because those products run on the pages you visit. We also use infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare to host and deliver the site. Those providers process technical request data (for example IP address and URLs) as needed to serve pages securely.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the site or other people, or as part of a sale or transfer of the ranch’s website operations, and then only as needed for that purpose.

Data protection for sensitive data

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational steps to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

  • This site is served over HTTPS / TLS encryption in transit.
  • OAuth tokens for the production software are stored only as needed to keep that software authorized, as described in the Stanley Farm Live / YouTube production software section. Traffic uses HTTPS. We do not store visitor Google Account credentials or visitor OAuth tokens.
  • Access to our website hosting, DNS, and related accounts is limited to people who operate Stanley Farm and Ranch.
  • Public YouTube video IDs and titles cached for the video list are not sensitive personal data; they are public channel metadata.
  • Email you send us is kept in our ordinary email account so we can answer you.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we believe a security incident affects your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and, where appropriate, notify you.

Retention and deletion of Google user data

We do not keep Google user data longer than needed for the uses above.

  • OAuth tokens / Authorized Data. Kept only while the production software integration is in use. If access is revoked or an operator asks us to delete it, we delete that data as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 days.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics retains measurement data according to the retention settings on our Google Analytics property. We use it to understand traffic, not to keep a permanent file on you.
  • AdSense and advertising cookies. Controlled by Google and your browser. You can delete cookies in your browser and use Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info to limit personalized ads.
  • YouTube embeds. Playback and player data is handled by YouTube / Google under the Google Privacy Policy. We do not store your YouTube watch history.
  • Public video ID / title cache. Kept only long enough to display current videos on this site (minutes to hours in normal operation, and in any case not longer than 30 days without refresh or deletion).
  • Email. We keep email threads as long as needed to answer you and run the ranch. We delete them when they are no longer needed, unless law requires a longer hold.

How to request deletion. Email info@stanleyfarmandranch.com and ask us to delete personal information we hold about you. We will delete it as soon as reasonably possible, and within 7 calendar days, except where we must keep a record to comply with law, resolve a dispute, or prevent abuse. Deleting data we store does not delete data stored by Google or YouTube. To manage or delete data Google holds, use your Google Account.

Google / YouTube account authorization. Channel operators who authorized the production software can revoke that access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (same page as Google’s security settings permissions). After revocation we delete related Authorized Data as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 calendar days. Site visitors are not asked to grant this authorization.

This site does not have user accounts to delete. Clearing your browser cookies stops this site’s browser-stored identifiers on that device.

Cookies, ads, and analytics

We use Google tags (including Google Analytics / Google Tag, container GT-5TW9X9FX) to understand traffic.

We use Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-5216201271697246) to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies or similar storage to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in Google’s advertising policies. You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings, and you can learn about other opt-outs at aboutads.info.

This site allows third parties (including Google AdSense and YouTube) to serve content, including advertisements, and to store, access, or collect information directly or indirectly on or from your device, including by placing, accessing, or recognizing cookies or similar technology on your device or browser.

Third-party embeds you choose to use (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and similar) set their own cookies. Their rules apply there, not ours.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent email lists. We do not share your email with advertisers. Ads on this site are served by Google, not by us handing anyone a spreadsheet.

Kids

This site is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and notify users of material changes to how we use Google user data. The date at the top is the latest version.
