Napper and a barn lurker

Y'all, Inside Barn at 8:41 PM had a brown cow sacked out under that hanging light and a pale one standing back in the dark like it drew night watch, then Pasture 2a at 6:30 AM a donkey was just parked by the pens while a white spotted critter nosed the pine straw, and Pasture 1 at 3:46 PM the cows moseyed around them hay rings — a brown one grazing, a black one standing like it owned the place, a couple more loafing toward the fence — nobody kicked up dust, just a slow shuffle through the straw.
