Donkey posing by the pines

Y'all, Pasture 2a at 5:33 PM had that white donkey just parked out by the pines like he was posing for a calendar, while a brown cow hung in the pens, chickens scratched around the hay, and a goat moseyed the fence line — then Pasture 1 at 6:37 PM the critters piled onto the hay ring for supper and a couple of brown ones had already laid down in the pine straw like they'd clocked out, and Inside Barn at 6:31 AM a pale cow was standing under that hanging lamp with a dark buddy lurking in the back, nobody kicked up much dust but they sure made the rounds.
