Evening cows at the hay

Pasture 2a at 8:01 PM was a slow mosey kind of evening — brown cow parked under the lean-to and a couple more critters standing at the hay like they had all night, then y'all should've seen Pasture 1 at 1:16 PM, five head crowded around that hay ring chewing like they were late to supper and kicking up pine-straw dust, and the Inside Barn at 4:49 PM? Nobody home, just dirt, a hanging lamp, and an empty frame waiting on some critter to wander in.
