Turkey standing on barn floor

Spotlight
Look at that turkey holding court in the barn this afternoon. He's planted on the dirt floor with his head up and that red wattle showing, just as still as can be. Right under the old hanging lamp another bird is sitting tight, not bothering anybody. The still from 1:16 shows them both taking it easy, no fuss, no movement. It's the kind of quiet that makes you smile a little, wondering if the turkey thinks he's in charge of the whole operation.
Around the place
The chickens had a full house this morning. Inside the coop there were several of them, dark and white, standing around on the wood shavings with the lights burning. A couple of the white ones look smaller, maybe younger birds. Later a black hen was out by herself in the wire pen, and a rooster turned up in Pasture 2a. A few cows stood in Pasture 1 among the tall pines, just standing there in the morning. Some white goats were over by the water tank come afternoon. All the animals accounted for and looking fine. Nothing out of the ordinary from what the cameras show.
