Earlier
Morning. At 7:12 six chickens occupy the coop. Two of them perch on the roost, one white and one black. Four others stand on the shavings covering the floor, with a small black chicken standing apart near the wall. At 10:14 Virgil and Zander stand as a pair in the pasture among the pines. At 1:15 one brown cow stands alone in the barn.
Later
Evening. At 6:11 three cows from Sugar's bunch are out on the pasture. The black cow walks slowly away across the pine straw. The other two stand back closer to the trees and fence line. At 6:26 a turkey and five chickens, one of them a rooster, stand inside the fenced yard.
