Four cows hoggin' hay ring

Y'all, Pasture 1 at 7:14 PM had four cows jammed on that green hay ring like it was the only buffet in Huntsville, heads down and not even kickin' up dust, while the empty silver ring sat there lookin' jealous. Pasture 2b at 7:59 PM was a handful of chickens moseyin' the fence line, white and black hens pokin' around the pine straw like they owned the place. Pasture 2a at 8:16 PM went dark and quiet except a few light-colored critters loafin' by the shed, one of 'em takin' a slow walk out into the dirt. Inside Barn at 8:21 PM was nobody home — just a hangin' bulb and a whole lot of empty floor. Then Chicken Coop at 6:09 AM finally showed life, about six birds on the roost and the shavings, already actin' like they run the ranch.
