Goats loafing back in pens

Y'all, Pasture 2a at 6:07 PM was mostly pine straw and empty dirt up front, with the goats and a couple cows hanging back in the pens like they paid rent and didn't care to mosey out. Pasture 1 at 7:03 PM the critters finally showed up for real — brown and white cows working that hay ring while a black one kicked up dust heading off to the right. Pasture 2b at 7:21 PM had a rooster and a couple white hens scratching around with a turkey standing lookout by the gate. Chicken Coop at 6:16 AM the whole flock was already up under the lamp like somebody rang a bell, and Inside Barn at 4:48 PM was nobody home, just that heat lamp staring at an empty floor.
