Late afternoon on Pasture 2a found a donkey and a couple of cattle lingering by the metal pens and shade shelter, while over on Pasture 1 a white cow worked the hay ring with a brown one nearby and a goat walking in from the trees. By 7:46 PM the Chicken Coop was lively under the lamp, with several hens and a rooster settling in on the shavings. After dark the Inside Barn sat empty under a single hanging light, and Pasture 2b showed only the night fence line—no one left out in that lot.
